8th Grade students attend P2P Career Expo

Last week the Lee Academy eighth grade class, along with guidance counselor Beverly Antici, attended the third annual Pathways2Possibilities Career Expo at the Washington County Convention Center in Greenville, MS. 
Students spent the morning exploring many of the careers available in our region. This program is designed as a great opportunity for students to take the first steps in planning for their future. The 18 pathways include Aerospace, Agriculture/Food/Natural Resources, Architecture/Construction, Arts/AV Technology/Communication, Business Management/Administration, Education/Training, Energy, Engineering/Polymer Science, Finance, Government/Public Administration, Health Sciences, Hospitality/Tourism, Human Services, Information Technology, Law/Public Safety/Corrections/Security, Manufacturing, Marketing, Transportation/Distribution/Logistics.
This program was a rewarding and motivating experience for our students.
