Lee Builders Club and Key Club Support the Care Station

Mr. Charlie Estess visited Lee Academy today to speak to Builders Club and Key Club students about the history and mission of The Clarksdale Care Station. Mr. Estess explained the ways Lee Academy students can help serve.
It is the Care Station mission to feed the sick and shut-in's through providing meals to needy persons. Their goal is to provide nourishment for the physical and spiritual needs of our community. Meals are provided at the Care Station or through their delivery program. In addition,  they feed souls with God's word delivered daily by local pastors. Currently, the Care Station is delivering and serving over 375 meals daily. They also deliver over 200 food bags to shut-in's on Friday to help feed them over the weekend.
Lee Club members can help by donating individually wrapped snacks such as nabs, breakfast bars, and nuts. Club members will be collecting these items over the next week as well as making "Boo Bags" filled with candy. Any student, faculty, or friend of Lee is welcome to help donate these items for the Care Station.
