Please sell your Colts and Crawfish tickets! The big event will be Friday night!We need everyone to help! This is our fundraiser to try and keep tuition down. HELP US MAKE OUR SCHOOL BETTER!!!!

Don't forget! Our April service project is CARES. The animal shelter needs paper towels, toys, canned puppy food - Pedigree Brand only, Canned Cat food, & Clumping Cat Litter. Please consider bringing an item or two to help!

Mrs. Antici has Kiwanis Club Scholarship applications. The deadline is April 25.

Key club and Builder’s club are in need of snacks and water to make goodie baskets for police, sheriff, fire dept, and city hall. Bring all goodies to Dr. Humber’s room and sign the sheet with what you brought. You may receive service hours depending on what you bring. Need enough goodies for around 130 employees.

Seniors, please give Mrs. Antici copies of your scholarship award letters or emails as you receive them.

Tennis today to play double header at Kirk . They will be dismissed at 11:45.

Baseball Thursday at home. This will be Senior Night.

Track meet Wednesday and Saturday.

Baseball practice today 7-12at 4:00.


Griot Open Mic Night!

Griot Open Mic Night will be happening tomorrow night in Griot's Meraki space (282 Sunflower).  Sign-ups for performances will start at 6pm & performances will start at 6:30pm.

This open mic will be FREE in celebration of Juke Joint!  Students will have priority in the performance line-up, but anyone is free to sign-up to perform.

High school students are invited to come and perform music, poetry, original songs etc.  Students do not have to perform; they are welcome to cheer their peers on and buy coffee, sodas, and snacks. Adults that want to support the students are also welcome. 

We LOVE seeing students from all of the different schools coming together to share their creativity in a positive space.

Our March Service Project is

Griffin’s Run - Dash For Down Syndrome.

Please bring cases of bottled water to school to donate for race day this Saturday! 

Bring $1 and wear blue jeans on Friday and your favorite Lee Academy T-shirt.

Volunteers are needed for Griffin’s run this Saturday downtown. Students will help at different spots along the course. Please call Kristin Graves if you can help! 902-6540 GREAT Service Opportunity!!

We need lots of volunteers for Track meet Wednesday starting at 10:00. Please call Leah Dulaney if you can help at all. Number 902-4908.

Baseball game today at 3:00 at home. A game first! 

Varsity Boys basketball team will put on a basketball scrimmage and demonstration at St. Elizabeth today at 2:00.

Spring break is next week: Friday, March 9 will be a half day dismissing at 11:30.

Schedule Friday: 1st- 8:00-8:30, 2nd- 8:35-9:05, 3rd- 9:10-9:40 4th9:45-10:15, 5th 10:20-10:55, 11:00-11:30

To be considered fully registered we must have the signed contract with your check. You should have received registration through an email. You may also go on renweb under Resource Documents and print out contract or you may go to the web site leeacademycolts.org and print out. You have till March 30th to register for school year 2018/19.

CARES needs help at their annual Fish Fry Fundraiser held on Juke Joint Weekend. The Fish Fry is on Thursday, April 12. There will be two, 1.5 hour shifts. Please stop by the office to sign-up!

This Friday is the absolute LAST day to purchase a yearbook before orders are placed. They are $75.

JA Scholarship applications must be turned in the Monday we get back from spring break.


AAA Basketball Tournament

HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to our Colts! We are so excited to head to Columbia Academy tomorrow for our game against Hillcrest Christian at 4:00.

Our pep bus will be leaving at  10:30! Please bring your $20 cash to ride this bus. The admission to the game will be $8, and they  will have t-shirts for sale for $18. Parents please send your child with enough money to get in the game and to puchase something to eat. The pep bus will not stop after the game so please encourage your child to eat the game.

Please wear your Lee Academy fan gear!!

The player and cheerleader bus will leave at 9:30 am and will stop at Mama Hamil's in Madison for lunch. This is a homecooking, buffet style restaurant. The meal there will be provided for the players, coaches, and cheerleaders. Please make sure you send your child with money in case they want something to eat after the game. Your child will be required to ride there and home on this bus, no exceptions. Please know that girls will sit in the front of the bus and boys will be in the back, no boys and girls will be allowed to sit together. Please explain this to your children, there will be no exceptions.

There are about 7 seats left on the fan bus, if you are interested please let us know. If you put your name down and you have decided not to go please also let me know.
